Danville – Alice S. Kuznicki, 68, formerly of Atlas, passed away Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville from complications from Acute Intermittent Porphyria.

Alice was a 1970 graduate of Mount Carmel High School and The Albert Einstein School of Nursing, Philadelphia. She worked in the Intensive Critical Cardiac Care Unit of GMC for nearly 30 years until her retirement. During those years she took time to work as a traveling nurse in Hawaii and Florida.

She was member of St. Joseph's Church, Danville.

Alice loved to travel and took many trips with her mother and her Aunts, Shirley Gard and Peggy Yancheski, both of Kulpmont. Her bags were always packed and ready to go, even if it was an overnight trip to the casino.

Alice is survived by her sister, Linda Vincenzes and husband, Nicholas of Atlas; three nephews and their families, who she loved and always referred to as her own kids, Jody Vincenzes and wife, Lisa of Atlas, Kevin Vincenzes and wife, Donna of Atlas, and Nicholas Vincenzes and wife, Desiree of Bloomsburg; and five great-nieces and great-nephews, Michael, Daniel, Grace, Klaire and Kennedy. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Rose (Barletta) Kuznicki and her best fur-buddy, Benson.

Alice S. Kuznicki, 68, Danville – Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 19, 2021 in the C. J. Lucas Funeral Home Inc., 27 N. Vine Street, Mt. Carmel with Father Andrew Stahmer officiating. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery, Elysburg. A visitation will be held in the Funeral Home from 9 a.m. until the time of the service.
