Beloved sister Andrea (Andi) Tizkowski of Mountain Top, PA passed away Saturday, January 28, 2023.

She was born January 6, 1957 and raised in Kulpmont, PA. She was the daughter of the late Adam C. Tizkowski and Josephine E. (Czechowski) Tizkowski.

Andrea was a 1974 graduate of Mount Carmel Area High School and a 1979 graduate of King's College, Wilkes-Barre where she received her bachelor's degree. She spent a lifetime as a Social Worker ensuring those under her care were aided with compassion and respect.

Andrea was an exceptional cook, from the mundane to the elaborate meals she prepared for the lucky few. She collected cook books and could be found watching cooking shows in her spare time. She loved her Polish heritage and could cook all the traditional Polish meals that she learned from her mother. Vacations were spent sampling cuisines and then making the dishes to share.

She is survived by her sister Danette.

Private funeral services will be held Monday, February 6, 2023 at Holy Angels Roman Catholic Church in Kulpmont.
