Mount Carmel – Angela (Kazmerski) Zujkiewicz, 100, of 315 S. Hickory St., passed away August 24, 2022 at her residence.

She was born in Shamokin on August 20, 1922, the daughter of John and Veronica (Gudziewicz) Kazmerski.

On July 16, 1956, she married the late Anthony Zujkiewicz, who preceded her in death on January 25, 1969.

Angela was a member of Divine Redeemer Church.

Angela is survived by a daughter, Cynthia Startzel; two sons, Anthony Zujkiewicz and Thomas Zujkiewicz; four grandchildren, Rachel Startzel, Lauren Startzel, Anthony Zujkiewicz, and Jesse Zujkiewicz; a brother, Patrick Kazmerski; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her parents and husband, Angela was preceded in death by her siblings, Anne, Victoria, Regina, John, Edward, Michael, and David.

Funeral Service will be held privately at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Church of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, 47 S. Market Street, Mt. Carmel, PA 17851. Arrangements are in care of C. J. Lucas Funeral Home Inc., 27 N. Vine St., Mt. Carmel, C. J. Lucas IV, Supervisor.
