Natalie – Angelo E. Toter, 89, of 248 Colonial Ave. passed away September 28, 2022 at his residence surrounded by his family.

He was born in Shamokin Hospital on June 10, 1933, the son of Anthony and Anna (Dawda) Toter.

Angelo attended Wilson Grade School and graduated from Kulpmont Roosevelt High School in 1951. Angelo lived in Kulpmont until 1962 then he moved to Atlas and finally settled in Natalie in 1972. He proudly served in the United States Navy on the USS Valcour and USS Tarawa ships during the Korean Conflict from 1951-1955.

On June 27, 1959 he married Loretta E. Tocyloski in St. Paul's Chapel. Together they shared 63 years of marriage.

Angelo was a member of the Church of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, formerly St. Paul's Chapel, Atlas. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Angelo is survived by his wife, Loretta Toter; son, Anthony Toter and wife, Edie; daughter, Donna Toter; four grandchildren, Jennie Toter, Rachel Toter, Brandon Toter, and Michael McSurdy; a sister, Helen Pavis; brother, Anthony Toter and wife, Barbara; as well as many nieces and nephews. Angelo was preceded in death by his parents; and a grandson, Dylan Toter.

Graveside Service will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. with Father Francis Karwacki officiating at All Saints Cemetery, Elysburg. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Arrangements are in care of C. J. Lucas Funeral Home Inc., 27 N.
