Mount Carmel – Anna Bartol, 91, of formerly of 329 W 5 ^th Street, passed away Friday, January 1, 2021 at Mount Carmel Nursing Home.

Born in Marion Heights on August 12, 1929 she was the daughter of the late John and Mary Sicora Ridilla. She graduated in 1947 from Kulpmont High School.

On May 2, 1953 at St. Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church, she married John C. Bartol, who preceded her in death. She worked as a Seamstress at Local Garment factory. She was a member of Divine Redeemer Church, formerly St. Peters Church.

Anna was a homemaker. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and spending time with her family.

Anna is survived by two sons, John J. Bartol and his wife, Lucinda of Marion Heights, and Joseph J Bartol and his wife, Elaine of DenMar Gardens; two grandsons, John J Bartol II of DenMar Gardens and Dr. Kyle Bartol and his wife, Janice of MD; three granddaughters, Bryana Bartol of Forty Fort, Brittany Backer and her husband, Derrick of Shamokin Dam, and Brooke Bartol of DenMar Gardens; a sister-in-law, Shirley Bartol; as well as nieces and nephews. In addition to her Husband and Parents, Anna was preceded in death by her Father and Mother-In-Law, John and Florence Bartol; a brother-in-law, Alfred Bartol; and two Sister-in-law's, Marie Bartol and Irene Gurba and her husband, John.
