Mount Carmel – Anna M. Gentile, 78, passed away August 22, 2021 at Mount Carmel Senior Living Community.

Born in Ashland on July 25, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Bernardo and Mary (Tamboro) Gentile.

Anna was a 1961 graduate of Mount Carmel Catholic High School. After graduation she pursued a job at Grossman's Department Store in Mt. Carmel. She then worked for a time at Cardinal Container and later was employed with Mount Carmel Nursing Home as a kitchen helper until her retirement.

She was a member of Church of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel.

Anna is survived by a brother, Joseph Gentile and his wife Mary of Hermitage; a niece, nephews and cousins. Ann was preceded in death by her parents; and six brother, Pete Gentile, Anthony Gentile, Jerry Gentile, Roger Gentile, Pat Gentile, and John Gentile.

Anna M. Gentile, 78, Mount Carmel – Funeral Mass will be held on August 27, 2021 at 12 p.m. in the Church of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, 47 South Market St., Mt. Carmel, PA 17851, with Father Francis Karwacki, celebrant and Father Francis Tamburro, concelebrant. Burial will follow in St. Peter's Cemetery, Mt. Carmel Township.
