Mount Carmel - Anna (Casari) Osman of Mount Carmel passed away on Tuesday, December 26, 2017.

Anna was born in the village of Smarano in the province of Val De Non, Italy on August 1, 1914.  She was a daughter of Joseph and Maria (Marignoni) Casari.  Anna traveled from there and arrived in Shepton, Pennsylvania on August 29, 1929.

On February 21, 1935 she married her husband Albert who preceded her in death on September 21, 2002. They were very happily married for 67 years prior to his death.

Anna was employed at the Mount Carmel Blouse Factory where she worked for 25 years retiring in 1967. She was a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union.

Anna also looked forward to the festivals held by the Hazelton Chapter of the Tirolosi Alpini for many years.

Surviving to cherish her memory are her son, Robert Osman of Camillus, NY; two daughters, Jean (Osman) Potts of Cressona and Loretta (Osman) Zenyuh and her husband John of Cornwall-on-the-Hudson, NY; four grandsons, Steven Potts and his wife Claire of England, John Paul Zenyuh and his wife Susan of CO, Christopher Zenyuh and his wife Monica of NY and Kevin Potts and his wife Carol Ann of Schuylkill Haven; eight great grandchildren Chloe, Gabriel, Michael, Ryan, Cody, Austin, Kaitlin and Connor and several  nieces and nephews.  Anna was preceded in death by her husband, parents, mother-in-law & father-in-law, Mary (Swaldi) and Matteo Dalpez and son-in-law Paul L. Potts. Anna's favorite times were spent with her family at home where she enjoyed their company.

Anna (Casari) Osman of Mount Carmel - A celebration of life will be held Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 11:00 am in the C.J. Lucas Funeral Home, Inc., 27 North Vine Street, Mount Carmel with Father Francis Karwacki, officiating.  Burial will be in St. Peters Cemetery, Mount Carmel Twp. Visitation will be held from 10:30 am - 11:00 am in the C.J. Lucas Funeral Home, Inc., 27 North Vine Street, Mount Carmel, C.J. Lucas IV, Supervisor.
