Anna Semborski, 93, a lifelong resident of Atlas, passed away peacefully on May 24, 2026, at the Capitol Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center in Harrisburg, PA, where she was a resident for the past 4 years.

She was born in Atlas on April 28, 1933, the daughter of Joseph and Helen (Tloczynski) Dallago. Anna was a 1951 graduate of Mount Carmel Township High School in Locust Gap. She was a member of St. Paul's Chapel in Atlas and later Our Mother of Consolation Catholic Church in Mount Carmel prior to the consolidation to Divine Redeemer in 1995. She was employed at the General Cigar Factory and Lady Jane Garments in Mount Carmel and later worked at the Holy Spirit School cafeteria while being a devoted wife and mother.

Anna married the love of her life and her 'best buddy', Edward Semborski, on January 14, 1956, and they shared an inseparable 66+ years of marriage together until his passing in 2022. She was very proud of her two sons, Edward (Jr.) and Joseph and provided a lifetime of love and support for them. She loved her four grandchildren Michael, Jonathan, Sara, and Eric and always looked forward to spending time with them during family visits and on holidays and special occasions.

Anna endured the passing of her mother at a young age and was the only girl in a family of brothers, which strengthened her resolve and determination for everything she did in her life. She was devastated by the fire that destroyed the house in which she grew up and raised her young family, but she also rebounded from that because of the strong Coal Region woman that she was. Her life goal was being dedicated to her family.  The best and most memorable of times for her included the summer vacation trips to Connecticut to visit Uncle Lou, family picnics at Ideal Park and Knoebels, cooking for the family, making pizzelles at Christmas, jarring chow chow with vegetables from Ed's garden, and sitting out in the front of the house on warm summer days with Ed watching the cars go by on the highway. Anna will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Anna is survived by two sons, Edward Semborski Jr. and wife, Diane of Harrisburg, PA, and Joseph Semborski and wife, Stacy of Gulfport, FL; three grandsons, Michael Semborski of Harrisburg, PA, Jonathan Semborski of Mechanicsburg PA, and Eric Semborski and wife, Kaitlyn of Bloomsburg PA; a granddaughter, Sara Foltz-Semborski and husband, Aaron of Hanford CA; and five great-grandchildren, Ava, Atlas, Aidan, Abel, and Pace. Anna was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Dallago and Helen (Tloczynski) Dallago; husband, Edward Semborski Sr.; brother, Louis Dallago; and seven half-brothers, Alex, Leon, Joseph, William, John, Leonard, and Andrew (Politis).

Funeral service will be held Friday, June 5, 2026, at noon with Father Jonathan Sawicki officiating in Divine Redeemer Church, 300 West Ave., Mt. Carmel. Viewing will be held prior to the Mass from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., with transferal prayers at 11 a.m. in the C. J. Lucas Funeral Home Inc., 27 N. Vine St., Mt. Carmel, C. J. Lucas IV, Supervisor. Burial will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
