Catawissa – Annina Procopio, 78, of 78 Ashton Hollow Rd., passed away February 10, 2023 with her family by her side.

She was born in Isca, Italy on March 12, 1944, the daughter of the late Vincenzo and Severina (Mirarchi) Procopio.

Annina was a resident of the Kulpmont area for 70 years and attended St. Mary's School. She worked as a seamstress and later for the Mount Carmel School District.

She was a member of the Church of the Holy Angels.

Annina is survived by her sister, Elizabeth Greco; and seven nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Annina was preceded in death by a sister, Mary; and two brothers, Andrew and Frederick.

Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, February 17, 2023 at 12 p.m. with Father Andrew Stahmer as celebrant in the Church of the Holy Angels, Kulpmont. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Kulpmont. Viewing will be held in the Church from 11 a.m. until the time of the Mass. Arrangements are in care of C. J. Lucas Funeral Home, Inc., 1053 Chestnut St., Kulpmont. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Church of the Holy Angels, 855 Scott St., Kulpmont, PA 17834.
