Kulpmont - Anthony A. "Nino" Bressi, 76, of 432 North Fifth Street, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Born in Danville on April 29, 1942 he was the son of the late Anthony A. and Agnes (Griglock) Bressi. He was a 1959 graduate of Kulpmont High School.

Tony was the owner/operator of Bressi's Market in Kulpmont. He enjoyed family holiday gatherings, gardening, wine making, making soupies (sopressata), boating, spending time at his cottage on the Susquehanna River, fishing and teaching his grandchildren how to cast.

On October 9, 1965 in St. Casimir's Church, Kulpmont he married the former Cynthia M. Greco who survives, his death breaks a marital union of 53 years.

He was a member of the Church of the Holy Angels and served with the US Army Reserves. He was an active member of the Knights of Columbus as well as one of the original members of the Susquehanna ValleyWine Chapter. A dream of his lifetime was fulfilled in 2015 with a trip to Italy.

In addition to his wife, Cynthia he is survived by two daughters, Michele Resuta and her husband Steven of Elysburg and Sherri Kemper of Frackville; one son, Chris Bressi and his wife Gillian, Glenmoore; a daughter-in-law, Erika Bressi of Schnecksville; seven grandsons, Steven Resuta, Nicholas Resuta, Markus Kemper, Christopher Resuta, Josef Kemper, Anthony Resuta and Antonio Bressi; ten granddaughters, Jessica Resuta, Maria Resuta, Gianna Resuta, Guiliana Bressi, twins-Makayla & Ella Bressi, Emilia Bressi, Francesca Resuta, Elaina Bressi and Cecilia Ann Bressi; one brother, Paul D. Bressi and his wife Patricia of CA; one sister, Carol Berger of MD; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Anthony A. Bressi III; three infant brothers, Charles Bressi, Charles Bressi and Joseph Bressi.

"Nino"Bressi, 76, of 432 North Fifth Street, Kulpmont - Funeral Mass will be held Monday, November 19, 2018 at 10:00 am in the Church of the Holy Angels, 855 Scott Street, Kulpmont with Father Andrew Stahmer, officiating.  Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery, Elysburg.  Viewing will be held Sunday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 with a prayer service at 6:15 and Monday morning from 8:30 - 9:45 with transferal prayers at 9:00 in the C.J.
