Marion Heights – Barbara A. (Boylan) Bressi, 81, passed away Monday, December 6, 2021 at Nottingham Village, Northumberland.

She was born in Shamokin on April 4, 1940, the daughter of the late Michael and Alice (Puskoskus) Boylan.

Barbara was born and raised in Locust Gap, where she attended school. She retired as an assembler at Paper Magic, Elysburg.

On March 22, 1958 in St. Joseph's Church, Locust Gap she married Frank Bressi.

Barbara was a member of the Church of the Holy Angels, Kulpmont. Later in life at Nottingham Village she enjoyed visiting with other residents and participating in their activities.

Barbara is survived by a son, Frank Bressi II and wife, Carol of Milton; four daughters, Alicia M. Scicchitano and husband, Craig of Elysburg, Kimberly A. Vaughan and husband, Kevin of NJ, Barbara A. Sinopoli and husband, Michael of Kulpmont, and Patricia A. Olszewskie and husband, Bernard of Marion Heights; five grandsons, James Britton and wife, Elda, Justin Bressi, Ryan Bressi, Jacob Vaughan, and Michael Sinopoli Jr.; five granddaughters, Alicia Bellizaire and husband, Jean, Kristen Marcheski and husband, David, Sarah Vaughan, Kaylene Sinopoli, and Emily Olszewskie; seven great-grandsons, Marcus Muldrow, David Marcheski, Sebastian Britton, Giovanni Britton, Jordan Bellizaire, Jackson Bressi, and Leonardo Britton; three great-granddaughters, Alayna Marcheski, Willow Marcheski, and Thea Bellizaire; brother-in-law, William Bressi of Mount Carmel; nephew, Michael Boylan of Mount Carmel; and Angie Credito of Mount Carmel. In addition to her husband and parents, Barbara was preceded in death by a sister, Anna M. Credito and husband, Frank; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Samuel and Theresa (Chandash) Bressi; and step-father-in-law, Paul Feddock.

FUNERAL NOTICE

Barbara A. (Boylan) Bressi, 81, of Marion Heights– Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, December 18, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. with Father Andrew Stahmer officiating in the Church of the Holy Angels, 855 Scott Street, Kulpmont. Burial will follow at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Marion Heights. Visitation will be held prior to the Mass in the church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
