Kulpmont – Barbara (Macheskie) Falton, 76, of 737 Spruce Street, passed away on August 21, 2024, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

She was born in Ashland on November 12, 1947, the daughter of the late Joseph and Sylvia (Wydra) Macheskie.

Barbara was a graduate of Mount Carmel High School. Everyone who knew her, regardless of age, called her "Mamma". She loved casino trips and watching hummingbirds and Family Feud. Barbara had a great sense of humor and made everyone laugh. She had a big heart and prayed the rosary every day. She was the most selfless and caring person anyone could meet.

Every morning, Barbara and her daughter, Pauline, would say to each other "I love you forever and beyond the beyond." Barbara would tell her furry grandbaby, Lulu, "I love you a bushel and a peck and a hug around the neck."

Barbara is survived by her daughter, Pauline Falton of Kulpmont. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, James Macheskie.
