Marion Heights – Bernice (Sauler) Price, 93, passed away August 30, 2021, at Mount Carmel Senior Living Community.

She was born in Marion Heights on March 10, 1928, the daughter of the late Arthur and Rose (Jarvis) Sauler.

Bernice was a lifelong resident of Marion Heights. She attended Marion Heights Grade School and worked as a sorter in the cutting room at Lady Hope Dress Factory.

She married the late Robert P. Price in Grace United Church of Christ in 1968. He preceded her in death on March 13, 2006.

Bernice was a member of All Saints Lutheran Church, Kulpmont. She was a volunteer at the Mount Carmel food pantry since 1994.

Bernice is survived by her granddaughter, Lisa Swatsky of Kulpmont; grandson, Sean Swatsky and wife, Amy of VA; two great-grandsons, Kyler Swatsky and Nathan Swatsky; two great-granddaughters, Isabel Swatsky and Abigail Swatsky; two great-great-grandsons, Mason Swatsky and Riley Swatsky; sister-in-law, Eleanor Sauler of Downingtown; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; daughter, Carol Swatsky; two brothers, Arthur "Dutchie" Sauler, who was a pilot in the US Air Force who was killed during WWII and Edward Sauler; and a sister, Elizabeth Kubany and husband, George.
