Mount Carmel - Blair G. Ruths, 86, of 229 East Seventh Street, passed away Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Born in at home in Mount Carmel on November 30, 1930, he was raised by his mother Mary (Fetchick) Ruths.

He was a 1948 graduate of Mount Carmel High School and a member of the Church of Our Lady, Mount Carmel.

Blair was employed as a mechanical draftsman.

He served with the United States Marine Corps.

Survivors include two sisters, Dolores and Mary. In addition to his mother he was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert & John and a sister, Nancy.
