Mount Carmel – Brandon J. Slovinsky, 45, of 15 South Locust St., passed away February 24, 2023 at Grandview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Danville.

He was born in Sunbury on December 21, 1977, the son of Leonard and Susan (Snyder) Slovinsky.

Brandon attended Northumberland County Vo-Tech and was a 1997 graduate of Mount Carmel High School. He was a life-long resident of the Mount Carmel area. Brandon was employed as a truck driver then later worked as a dispatcher for NFI Corporation.

On April 25, 2009, he married the former Lisa Schickley in St. John's Church, Shamokin.

Brandon enjoyed the outdoors as an avid fisherman and hunter who found great joy in archery. He loved his family very dearly and cherished his time spent with his granddaughter.

Brandon is survived by his wife, Lisa Slovinsky of Mt. Carmel; parents, Leonard and Susan Slovinsky of Marion Heights; a sister, Shannon Spotts and husband, Ken of Kulpmont; two sons, Derek Mihalik and wife, Kirsten of Sunbury and Judd Slovinsky of Mt. Carmel; a daughter, Kelsea Ann Slovinsky of Washington County, PA; and a granddaughter, Annabelle Rose; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and three nieces. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Pauline and Charles Snyder; paternal grandparents, Caroline and Frank Slovinsky; a sister, Heather Slovinsky; a granddaughter, Gabriella; and a cousin, Aaron Savadge.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at 2 p.m. with Reverend Joan Brown as celebrant in the C. J. Lucas Funeral Home, Inc.,  Mt. Carmel, C. J. Lucas IV, Supervisor. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Visitation will be held in the Funeral Home from 12 p.m. until the time of the Service.
