Mount Carmel – Brian Dixon, 46, of 404 W. Saylor St., passed away on February 9, 2023 at Hershey Medical Center.

He was born on February 16, 1976 in Ashland, the son of Robert and Jacqueline (Mannello) Dixon.

Brian was a graduate of Mount Carmel High School, class of 1995.

He was a member of the Atlas Fire Company and coached baseball for the Atlas Junior League and Teener League in Kulpmont. Brian was a noseguard on the State Championship Football Team in 1994 and one of the founders of Pride Night for the football team, started in 1994.

Brian is survived by his father, Robert Dixon; sister, Michelle Imler and husband, Steven; a nephew, Sean Imler and wife, Dakota; two nieces, Julia Imler and Natalie Imler; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Brian was preceded in death by his mother, Jacqueline Dixon; and a brother, Sean Dixon.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2023 at 11 a.m. with Father Francis Karwacki as celebrant in the C. J. Lucas Funeral Home, Inc., 27 North Vine Street, Mount Carmel, C. J. Lucas IV, Supervisor. Burial will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. Visitation will be held in the Funeral Home from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Mount Carmel Area Public Library, 30 S. Oak St., Mt. Carmel, PA 17851.
