Natalie – Bruce C. Russin, 82, of 231 N. School Street, passed away on May 28, 2023 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

He was born in Maury, PA on September 14, 1940, the son of the late Alex and Lillian Mae (Minnich) Russin.

Bruce was a lifelong resident of Natalie. He was a graduate of Mount Carmel High School and attended electrical school sponsored by PPL. In 1960, he started his own electrical business working as an electrical contractor until his retirement in 2018.

On February 1, 1964, in St. Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Church, Marion Heights he married the late Gertrude Reichwein, who preceded him in death in 2008.

Bruce was a member of the Patronage of the Mother of God Church, Marion Heights. He was lifelong member of the Natalie Fire Co., joining at the age of 18. From 1971 till present, Bruce held various offices in the Natalie Fire Co., currently serving as Financial Secretary until his passing. Supporting the community through his participation in the Natalie Fire Co. was a lifelong passion of his.

Bruce is survived by two sons, Alex Russin and Andrew Russin, both of Natalie; a daughter, Stephanie (Russin) Ulman and husband, James of IL; and a brother, Roger Russin of Natalie. In addition to his parents and wife; Bruce was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Russin; and a sister, Darlene Hullihan.

Panikhyda Service will be held on Friday, June 2, 2023, at 1 p.m. with Father Mark Fesniak officiating in the C. J. Lucas Funeral Home Inc., 27 N. Vine St., Mt. Carmel, C. J. Lucas IV, Supervisor. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery, Elysburg. Viewing will be held from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Natalie Fire Co., 135 Center St, Mt Carmel, PA 17851.
