Shamokin – Carol A. Chubb, 80, of 5260 Upper Rd., passed away on June 24, 2025, at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.

She was born in Coal Township on March 9, 1945, the daughter of Earl and Sarah (Boyer) Chubb.

Carol graduated from Shamokin Area High School, Class of 1963. She worked at the Johnson-Bailie Shoe Factory, served as a janitor at Shamokin Area Elementary School, and was also a dedicated homemaker.

Carol married the late Henry F. Chubb at St. Paul's UCC in Gowen City, where they were both members.

Carol is survived by her daughter, Annette Taylor of Mt. Carmel; a brother, Ronnie Chubb of Coal Twp.; a granddaughter, Rebecca Taylor of Mt. Carmel; two nieces, Stephanie Chubb of Danville and Tracy Scia Scia of Sunbury; and a nephew, Francis Depka of Kulpmont. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
