Mount Carmel – Carol Ann (Dalpiaz) Menapace, 75, passed away on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at her residence.

She was born in Shamokin on February 13, 1949, the daughter of the late Albert and Violet (Fabrizio) Dalpiaz.

Carol was a 1967 graduate of Mount Carmel High School and a lifelong resident of the area. She worked as a textile buyer.

On September 28, 1968, in St. Paul's Chapel, she married Michael Mark Menapace, who preceded her in death on August 4, 2022. Together they shared 53 years of marriage.

Carol is survived by two daughters, Sharon (Dave Carneiro) Menapace and Dawn (Roy) Stickler; three grandchildren, Braedon Stickler, Kyra Stickler, and Gianna Carneiro; two brothers, Albert Dalpiaz and Joseph (Kate) Dalpiaz; and a sister, Judith Kerrick; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, at 11 a.m. with Father Andrew Stahmer officiating in the Church of the Holy Angels, 855 Scott St., Kulpmont. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery, Elysburg. Viewing will be held on Monday, August 5, 2024, from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. with a Christian Wake Service at 7:30 p.m. and Tuesday, August 6, 2024, from 9 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. in the C. J. Lucas Funeral Home Inc., 27 N. Vine St., Mt. Carmel, C. J. Lucas IV, Supervisor. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Atlas Firefighters Equipment Fund, at 306 West Saylor St., Mt. Carmel, PA 17851.
