Atlas – Carol T. (Wisniewski) Rossi, 85, of 504 W. Girard St., passed away Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at her son's residence in Mount Carmel.

She was born in Kulpmont on December 27, 1935, the daughter of the late Stanley and Catherine (Joyce) Wisniewski.

Carol attended St. Mary's School and Mount Carmel High School. She worked as a seamstress for Mount Carmel Fashions for 20 years and retired from Mountain View Manor after working there as an aide for 6 years.

On September 13, 1952 in St. Paul's Chapel, Atlas she married the late Vincent E. Rossi, who preceded her in death on May 2, 2002.

Carol was a member of Divine Redeemer Church, Atlas Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary, and a life member of Atlas Fire Co.

Carol is survived by three sons, Vincent C. Rossi and wife, Florence of Atlas, Thomas J. Rossi and wife, Caroline of Mt. Carmel, and Anthony R. Rossi and wife, Pamela of Atlas; three grandsons, Joseph Rossi, Anthony Rossi and fiancé, Angelina Duda, and Nicholas Rossi; four granddaughters, Carol Ann Rosetta and husband, Albert, Susan Rossi, Michelle Rossi, and Amanda Snyder and husband, Michael; two great-grandsons, Michael Bonner and Jonathan Rosetta; three great-granddaughters, Stephanie Matukaitis, Marissa Matukaitis, and Megan Matukaitis; a great-great-grandson, Ethan Matukaitis; a brother, Joseph Wisniewski and wife, Eva; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her husband and parents, Carol as preceded in death by her father-in-law, Antonio Rossi and wife, Dora (Calabrese); and two sisters, Mary Delores Marshalek and husband, Leonard and Bridget Wisniewski.

Carol T. (Wisneskie) Rossi, 85, of 138 S. Maple St., Mt. Carmel – Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on March 16, 2021 in Divine Redeemer Church, 300 W. Ave., Mt. Carmel, PA with Father Ryan Fischer officiating. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery, Elysburg. There will be no public viewing.
