Mount Carmel - Carrie M. Sawicki, 93, of 408 W 4th Street, passed away Saturday, March 28, 2020 at her home.

Born in January 12, 1927 in Marion Heights to the late Felix and Julia (Bressi) Pupo. Carrie graduated from Kulpmont High School.

In Mount Carmel she married the late Daniel Sawicki. She was a member at Divine Redeemer Church in Mount Carmel.

Carrie is survived by a daughter, Donna Marie Sawicki of Mount Carmel; two brothers, Joe Pupo and his wife, Jane of Mount Carmel, and Anthony Pupo and his wife, Marlin of State College; a sister, Elizabeth Hornberger of Mount Carmel; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins. In addition to her parents, Carrie was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Sawicki; a brother, Frank Pupo and his wife, Stella; three sisters, Mary Cioffi and her husband, Matthew, Theresa Chesney and her husband, Frank, and Anita Dunn and her husband, Richard; and a brother-in-law, Robert Hornberger.
