Catherine (Fedock) Hardnock, 91, of Mount Carmel, passed away on July 2, 2023, at Serenity Gardens, Kulpmont.

She was born in Mount Carmel on May 8, 1932, the daughter of the late Michael and Anastasia (Kostka) Fedock.

Catherine attended Washington School and Roosevelt Jr. School. She was a graduate of Mount Carmel High School, class of 1950. She worked in the garment industry for 42 years and was a life-long resident of the Mount Carmel area.

On June 17, 1961, in St. Joseph's Church, Ashland, she married the late Raymond J. Hardnock, who preceded her in death on January 20, 2000.

Catherine was a member of St. Michael's Orthodox Church, Mt. Carmel. She was also a member of the Clover Hose Fire Co. and the American Legion, Mt. Carmel.

Catherine is survived by many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Catherine was preceded in death by two brothers, John Fedock and Steven Fedock; and seven sisters, Mary Banesse, Eva Roushinko, Anastasia Beckus, Dorothy Beckus, Anna Homiak Federeski, Sadie Shearn, and Helen Cupero.

At the request of the deceased a graveside service was held privately at All Saints Cemetery, Elysburg. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Michael's Orthodox Church, 131 N. Willow St., Mount Carmel 17851.
