Kulpmont - Charles B. Boyer, 82, of 657 Oak Street, died at his home surrounded by his family on Tuesday, June 19, 2018.

Born in Ashland on February 5, 1936, he was the son of the late John G. and Loretta (Madden) Boyer.  Charles attended Ashland Area Schools and later worked as a coal miner

On November 16, 1957, in the former Saint Mary's Church, Kulpmont, he married Patricia Pollock, who survives.

Charles was a member of Holy Angles Church, Kulpmont, previously St. Mary's.  He served with the US Army, discharged 1961.

In addition to his wife Patricia, he is survived by four daughters, Debra Kowaleski and her husband Sheldon of Kulpmont, Angela Carl of Mount Carmel, Susan Escobar and her husband Anthony of VA, and Theresa Bailey and her husband Gregory of Kulpmont; two sons, Michael Boyer and his wife Denise of Marion Heights and Joseph Boyer of Kulpmont; twelve grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; a sister, Marlene Obregon and her husband Leonardo of OK; and a brother, Donald Boyer of Ashland.  Charles was preceded in death by his parents.

Charles Boyer, 82, of 657 Oak St. Kulpmont - Graveside service and burial will be held Monday, June 25, 2018, at 11:00 am in Northumberland Memorial Park, 2956 State Route 61, Sunbury, with Father Stahmer, officiating.  Arrangements are being cared for by C.
