MOUNT CARMEL – Charles W. Eisenhart, 74, of 311 E. Center St., joined his beloved wife, family, friends, and heavenly Father on Sunday, September 17, 2023.

He was born on November 24, 1948, in Philadelphia. Charles was a resident of Schuylkill County, Johnstown and Philadelphia. In 1987, he moved to Mount Carmel area.

On January 3, 1987, he married the love of his life, Justina "Tina" G. Cherapan, who preceded him in death in 2022.

Charles was a member of SS Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church.

Charles is survived by granddaughter and caregiver, Kassondra M. Martz and partner, Jocelyn Ford; a daughter-in-law, Michelle Martz; a granddaughter, Dominique Dittman; a grandson, Paul Dittman; and Michael Price who was a caregiver for several years; and extended family, friends, and loved ones. He was preceded in death by his parents; beloved wife, Justina G. Eisenhart; a daughter, Ruth Martz; and a son, Chester Martz.

A Divine Liturgy will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Monday, September 25, 2023, with the Very Rev. Archpriest Michael Hutsko officiating in SS Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church, Mount Carmel. Interment will be private. A visitation will be held from  10 a.m. until the time of the Divine Liturgy in the Church.
