Kulpmont - Charles V. Gratti, 74, of 149 Nevada Drive, Apt 33, passed away Sunday, May 14, 2017 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Born in Shamokin State General Hospital on April 22, 1943, he was the son of the late Eugene and Josephine (Bressi) Gratti.  He received his GED from Mount Carmel High School.

On November 25, 1965 in St. Joseph's Church, Locust Gap he married the former Dorothy Ann Birster, who survives.

He worked for Milco Industries of Bloomsburg; he later worked at the Nutshack at Knoebel's Amusement Resort, retiring in 2001.

Charles was a member of the Church of the Holy Angels, Kulpmont and a life member of the West End Fire Company also of Kulpmont. He loved playing pool and spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren and great granddaughter, Maylina.

In addition to his wife Dorothy, he is survived by three children, Pamela Lebo and her husband Mark of Kulpmont; Charles V. Gratti Jr. and his wife Melanie of Coal Township and Michelle Chapman and her husband Michael of Kulpmont; six grandchildren, Alyssa Lebo, Joshua Ritz, Sierra and Nikolas Gratti, Michael and Briana Chapman and one great granddaughter, Maylina Chapman; one brother, Anthony Gratti and his wife Joan of Kulpmont; one sister, Catherine Gratti of Kulpmont; and one sister-in-law, Loretta Gratti as well as nieces, nephews and cousins.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Gilbert and Albert Gratti.

Charles V. Gratti, 74, of 149 Nevada Drive, Apt. 33 Kulpmont - Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, May 18, 2017 at 11:00 am in the Church of the Holy Angels, 855 Scott Street, Kulpmont with Father Andrew Stahmer, officiating.  Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery, Elysburg on Friday, May 26, 2017 at 11:00 am.  Viewing will be held Wednesday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 with a prayer service at 7:30 and Thursday morning from 9:00 - 10:45 with transferal prayers at 10:00 in the  C.J.
