Kulpmont - Charles Victor Rosetta, endearingly called Charlie, was born in Marion Heights on December 1, 1927.  He was the son of the late Frank and Margaret (Feese) Rosetta and brother to Jack Rosetta, Robert Rosetta, Edward Rosetta, Betty Lauer, and Marion Davis.  He departed this earthly life on Friday, April 21, 2023, at the age of 95.

Charlie was a life-long resident of Kulpmont and a graduate of Kulpmont High School, class of 1945. He proudly served in the United States Navy on the destroyer, USS Gatling.  In 1955, he began working for the Federal Bureau of Prisons at the United States Penitentiary (USP) Lewisburg.  Charlie retired in December 1982, as the Associate Warden's Secretary after 27 years of distinguished service. He was a member of the Kulpmont First United Methodist Church, where he served as the former Treasurer. Charlie also volunteered at the Mount Carmel Food Pantry for many years.

He is survived by his wife of 74 years, Beverly L. Rosetta (Witt); two daughters, Valorie Clark and her husband Michael of MD, and Susan Rosetta, of Danville; grandchildren, Paul M. Mall, Jr. and his wife Lori, Melissa Bayless and her husband Ty, Michelle Ballard and her husband Curtis, and Thomas Clark; great-grandchildren, Madison Mall, Coltyn Bayless, Denver Bayless, Cassidy Eck and her husband Joe, Sydney Knapp, Bristol Ballard, and Logan Ballad; and great-great grandson, Van Eck.

As a man of faith, Charlie wished to have a celebration of the immortality promised to all by Christ. He would loved to be remembered with funny and silly stories that celebrate what was good and blessed in his life.

Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, April 26, 2023, at 11:00 a.m., with Joanne Young as celebrant in the Kulpmont First United Methodist Church, Spruce Street and 9th Street, Kulpmont. Burial will follow in Northumberland Memorial Park, Sunbury. Visitation will be held in the Church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mount Carmel Area Ministerium Food Pantry, 26 N. Market St., Mt. Carmel, PA 17851.
