Cheryl M. Hornberger

Cheryl M. Hornberger, 65, of Kulpmont, peacefully passed away on Friday, October 23, 2026, surrounded by her loved ones.

She was born on December 7, 1960, at Shamokin State Hospital, a daughter of the late Floyd and Marian Dobson. In 1982, she married the love of her life, David J. Hornberger, who survives.

Cheryl was a 1978 graduate of Our Lady of Lourdes Regional High School, Shamokin.

Cheryl was happiest when surrounded by her husband, children, and grandchildren. She enjoyed hosting family gatherings, sharing her love for crystals and healing, supporting her grandchildren in all of their adventures, and when her toes were in the sand at the Outer Banks. She leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion to her family.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, are her four children, Kristen (Jason), Erin, Josh (Taren), and Dylan (Evelyn); her seven grandchildren, Brooklyn, Bronx, Liberty, Marissa, Macey, Cora, and Jackson; and two brothers, Jeff (Missy) and Keith (David); as well as many loving nieces and nephews.
