Mount Carmel – Christina (Butler) Madden, 58, of 208 West 2 ^nd St., passed away on March 2, 2023 at her residence with family by her side.

She was born in Minersville on January 24, 1965, the daughter of John and Marguerite (Borrelle) Butler.

Christina attended Minersville Area School District and was employed at Drug Plastic & Glass in Elysburg.

On December 15, 1998 she married Bruce Madden in Pottsville Nazarene Church.

Christina enjoyed playing BINGO, going to the casino, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Christina is survived by her husband, Bruce Madden of Mt. Carmel; mother, Marguerite Fasnacht of Yorkville; three daughters, Nicole Horn and husband, Brad of Lancaster, Karissa Masters of Selinsgrove, and Jessica Rona of Mt. Carmel; a brother, John Butler of Schuylkill Haven; four sisters, Linda Laudeman and husband, Michael of Minersville, Lynette Bohrman and husband, Jim of Orwigsburg, Charlotte Kocher and husband, Ed of Lititz, and Cheryl Major and husband Gary of Pottsville; five grandchildren, Conner, Makayla, Peyton, Abigail, and Bailey; as well as surviving sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The Madden family would like to thank Geisinger Hospice and Chaplain Allen for their kind and compassionate care.

A Remembrance Service will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, March 26, 2023 with Reverend Pat Ferris as celebrant in the New Life Church of God, Mt. Carmel. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Visitation will be held in the Church from 2 p.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donation may be made to New Life Church of God, 129 West 2nd St, Mt. Carmel, PA 17851.
