Christine M. (Zabotney) McLaughlin, 79, of Natalie, PA, passed away on June 27, 2026.

Christine was the daughter of the late Frank Zabotney and Marie Tanney.

She attended St. Joseph's Grade School, and was a graduate of Mt. Carmel High School, class of 1965.

Christine was a school bus driver for the CSIU, Klingers, and Mount Carmel Area School District. She was a member of the Church of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel. She also belonged to the American Legion Post 91 Ladies Auxiliary, VFW Post 2110 Ladies Auxiliary, the Clover Hose Fire Company, the Polish Cultural Club, and the Sons of Poland.

Christine is survived by her son, Patrick McLaughlin; a granddaughter, Sophia; friends and caretakers, Emily Dill, Stephen Mekosh, and Charlotte Thomas; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her parents, Christine was preceded in death by three brothers, Thomas, Frank, and Raymond Zabotney, and her longtime companion, Norman Williams.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at 11 a.m. with Father David Dormer officiating in the Church of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, 47 S. Market St, Mt Carmel, PA 17851. Viewing will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. in the C. J. Lucas Funeral Home, 27 N Vine St., Mount Carmel, PA, 17851. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
