Mount Carmel – Christine S. Miriello, 59, a resident of Mount Carmel Senior Living Community passed away on August 14, 2023, at Geisinger Shamokin Area Community Hospital.

She was born on June, 27,1964 in El Paso, TX, the daughter of Charles A. and Renate (Kludtke) Miriello.

Christine was a member of the Catholic Faith.

Christine is survived by her mother, Renate Miriello of Marion Heights; two sisters, Judy Filipczak of Marion Heights and Karen Scarlett of Tower City; as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles A. Miriello and her brother, Charles J. Miriello.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 18, 2023, at 1 p.m. with Father Andrew Stahmer officiating in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Cemetery, Marion Heights. Arrangements are in care of C. J. Lucas Funeral Home Inc., 1053 Chestnut St., Kulpmont. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be sent to St. Jude's Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
