Cynthia Zujkiewicz-Startzel, of Mount Carmel , gained her angel wings on March 29, 2023, at the age of 63. She was born in Shamokin, Pennsylvania on January 23, 1960, to the late Anthony and Angela (Kazmerski) Zujkiewicz. Cynthia was the loving mother of Rachel and Lauren Startzel; sister of Anthony and Thomas Zujkiewicz; she is also survived by aunts, uncles, nephews, and cousins.

Cynthia always brought sunshine into everyone's lives, lighting up a room whenever she walked into it. Her laugh was contagious and would always bring joy to those around her. She left an imprint of selflessness and kindness for her children to exemplify. She cherished being a loving and devoted mother.

She loved spending time with her daughters, her dog named Trudy, friends, and family. Cindy always looked forward to going on walks with friends or enjoying the food at Knoebels with her daughters.

Cynthia was passionate about her Catholic faith. Cynthia was a devoted member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church where she enjoyed Fr. Frank's sermons, singing, and listening to her daughters in the choir.

Funeral Service will be held privately at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 47 S. Market Street, Mt. Carmel, PA 17851.
