Kulpmont – David J. Dallazia, 68, passed away on Friday, Jan. 8, 2021.

He was born on April 29, 1952 in Marion Heights to the late Jenny Dallazia (Rossi) and Robert Dallazia.

He was married on October 3, 1970 to the former Wanda "Williams" of Kulpmont. They recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. They had two children, Graceann and David.

Dave was the owner of Dallazia Auto Sales in Kulpmont and Dave's Auto Repairs in Marion Heights. Throughout his many years in business, he was never too busy to help anyone with a problem. He was so concerned about getting the job done right, his work would often keep him well past regular hours while his family patiently awaited his return. There was no such thing as "time to quit." If someone called, he stopped to answer; never too busy to talk or listen. Many people he met though his business became life-long friends. Wherever he went someone knew him. Often, everyone did. He treated his many friends like family, while inspiring us all to do the same. If someone came to him for help, he would do whatever it took to take care of them. In what time he had away from work, he made sure to make his family feel loved. There was never any trouble "Dad" couldn't fix.

Dave was president of the Marion Heights Fire Company as well as a member for 47 years. He gave his time to make sure the Fire Company ran smoothly; ready to serve the community.

Survived by his wife Wanda, both children, and his faithful companion "Coco," the family dog. Also surviving are his brothers Anthony and Robert of Marion Heights and their families and brother Michael of Elysburg. He was preceded in death by his mother, father and sister Maryann. He will be sadly missed by the many friends he made throughout his life. Dave will be remembered as "one of the good guys."
