David "Dave" Davis Lamb, 78, of Mount Carmel, passed away peacefully on July 2, 2025. Born on October 30, 1946, Dave was a proud Centralia native who owned and operated The Speed Spot, a motorsport hub and local landmark for decades.

His passion for motorsports took him across the country as a trusted mechanic for top motocross riders, earning a reputation for his skill and dedication. Dave also fought fiercely for his hometown, even traveling to the White House to advocate for Centralia during its most challenging times.

A proud Marine, Dave served his country with honor and integrity. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Patricia "Pat" Lamb, and his son, David Lamb. Together, he and Pat built a blended and loving family.

He is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Deb and Ron Greenberg of New Jersey, and Andrea and Mike Goodman of Williamsport; his daughter, Rachel Lamb, and her partner Brian Woodley of Coal Township. He was a proud grandfather to Jake Greenberg, Molly Greenberg, Meyrick Lamb and his wife Elise Lamb, Drisauna Falk, Bryson Woodley, and Kristen Goodman; and a great-grandfather to Emmet Hockenbroch and Perry Lamb.

He is also survived by his sister, Eleanor "El" Wagner, and her partner, Russ Delp, of Selinsgrove; his niece, Jennifer, and her husband Matt Holloway; as well as his close friend, Marra Smith, and loyal neighbor Lois Reibsome.

Funeral Service will be held Friday, August 22, at 11:45 a.m. with the Rev. Rose Marquardt officiating in the C. J. Lucas Funeral Home Inc., 27 N Vine St., Mt. Carmel, PA 17851, C J Lucas IV, Supervisor. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of the service in the Mt. Carmel Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery. After the burial, a celebration of life will be held from 1:30 – 3 p.m. at the Wagon Shed, 850 Railroad St., Bloomsburg, PA 17815.
