David Lamar Linderman, 80, formerly of Trevorton, passed away on March 14, 2024, at Mountain View Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Coal Twp.

He was born in Trevorton on January 7, 1944, the son of the late Wilbert and Stella (Snyder) Linderman.

David was a lifelong resident of the area. He graduated from Southern Columbia High School in 1962. David proudly served in the United States Navy.

David enjoyed the outdoors, including rock collecting, hiking, and hunting. He had a sweet tooth, especially for Reese's Peanut Butter Cups.

David is survived by two daughters, Linda (Ken) Nestor of Greenfield Twp., and Tami Gratti of Kulpmont; two grandsons, Nikolas (Sabrina) Gratti of Coal Twp. and Samuel Casper of Greenfield Twp.; a granddaughter, Sierra Gratti of Kulpmont; a great-grandson, Alexander Gratti; a sister, Linda (Rick) Lucas of Sunbury; a brother, Thomas (Neila) Linderman of Sunbury; and three nieces, Kelly, Kate, and Jennifer; as well as many cousins. In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by a brother, James Linderman; and a grandson, Elijah Casper.

A celebration of life will be held and announced at a later date. Funeral arrangements are in care of C. J. Lucas Funeral Home Inc., 1053 Chestnut St., Kulpmont, PA, Ashley Paige Doyle Supervisor.
