Dennis M. Pancher, 82, formerly of 933 ½ Scott St., passed away on September 17, 2024, at the Manor at Penn Village Nursing Home.

He was born in Shamokin, on May 15, 1942, the son of the late Theodore Pancher Sr. and Clara (Maskel) Pancher.

Dennis served in the Army from 1961 to 1967, including a tour in Vietnam. After his military service, he worked as a steelworker at Handy and Harman Metals.

Dennis was a member of the Independence Fire Co., Shamokin.

Dennis is survived by two sons, Jeff Pancher and Jason Pancher; two granddaughters, Sophie and Lola; two brothers, Joe Pancher and Jerry Pancher; two sisters, Jean Redmond and Margie Karlin; a nephew, Greg Pancher and his wife, Mary Jo; a great-niece, Brianna Pancher; a great-nephew, Brendin Pancher; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Dennis was preceded in death by his daughter, Jana Pancher, and two brothers, Larry Pancher and Theodore Pancher.
