Diana M. Bird, 65, passed away on May 24, 2024, at Sunbury Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born on April 5, 1959, in Kittery, Maine, the daughter of the late Daniel and Rose (Joseph) Bird.

Diana graduated from Shamokin Area High School in 1977. She worked as a residential aide supervisor at the Selinsgrove Center for 28 years until her retirement.

Diana is survived by her brother, Daniel Bird Jr. and wife, Barbara of VA; as well as some cousins.

Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, May 30, 2024, at 11 a.m. with Rev. Jean Eckrod officiating in the C J Lucas Funeral Home Inc., 27 N. Vine Street, Mt. Carmel, C J Lucas IV, Supervisor. Burial will follow in Northumberland Memorial Park, Sunbury. Viewing will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of the service in the Funeral Home.
