Marion Heights – Diane C. Troyan, 58, of 217 Melrose Street, passed away suddenly at her residence on May 13, 2024.

Diane was born on April 7, 1966, in Ashland State Hospital, the youngest among seven siblings and the daughter of the late Nicholas and Sophie (Machuzak) Troyan.

She was a 1984 Mount Carmel High School graduate and earned a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Penn State University. Diane lived in Philadelphia and Florida before moving back to Marion Heights.

Diane was a member of the Patronage of the Mother of God Ukrainian Catholic Church, Marion Heights.

Diane is survived by two sisters, Pat Smith of Sunbury and Christine Masser and husband, Brian of Overlook; two brothers, Father Daniel Troyan of Swarthmore and Greg Troyan of Syracuse, NY; as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Diane was preceded in death by two brothers, Nicholas Troyan and Mark Troyan.

Divine Liturgy will be held on Monday, May 20, 2024, at 10 a.m. with Father Daniel Troyan officiating in the Patronage of the Mother of God Ukrainian Catholic Church, 145 Melrose Street, Marion Heights. Burial will follow in the Parish cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday morning in the Church from 9 a.m. until the time of the Divine Liturgy. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Patronage of the Mother of God Ukrainian Catholic Church, C/O Transfiguration Church, 303 N Shamokin St, Shamokin, PA 17872.
