Marion Heights – Dianna Paul, 60, of 540 E. Clermont St. passed away suddenly on March 26, 2022 at her residence.

She was born in Baltimore, MD on December 25, 1961, the daughter of Joseph and Janet (Jones) Schoppy.

Dianna was a lifelong resident of Marion Heights. She played the clarinet for the Mount Carmel Mounties Band and graduated from Mount Carmel High School, class of 1979. She earned an Associate's Degree from Penn State University and proudly served in the United States Army.

On July 27 1987, in Mount Carmel she married Dennis Paul, who survives.

Dianna worked as the manager, owner, and operator of Tour World/ Joe & Jan's Bus Company Inc. in Danville. She enjoyed working in her career.

Dianne is survived by her husband, Dennis Paul of Marion Heights; parents, Joseph Schoppy and wife, Janet of Danville; daughter, Major Krista Paul of Anchorage, AK; brother, Matthew Schoppy of Danville; sister, Eva Schoppy of Mount Carmel; daughter-in-law, Noilly Paul; two grandchildren, Adrian Paul and Nathanial Greenleaf; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her son, Staff Sergeant Eric Paul, who passed away on June 12, 2009.

Dianna Paul, 60, of 540 E. Clermont St., Marion Heights – Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, March 31, 2022 at 11 a.m. with Father Francis Karwacki officiating in the C. J. Lucas Funeral Home Inc., 27 N. Vine St. Mt. Carmel, C. J. Lucas IV, Supervisor. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Beaverdale. Viewing will be held in the funeral home from 9 a.m. until the time of the service for immediate family only.
