Dolores Mae Horner

Dolores Mae (Murin) Horner, 89, passed away on October 7, 2026, at Sheila S. Strauss Hospice House, Roanoke, Virginia.

She was born in Mount Carmel on July 27, 1937, the daughter of the late Edward S. and Sophie (Sabasinski) Murin.

Dolores was a graduate of Mount Carmel Joint Senior High School. She worked as an admissions support administrator for the Federal Government.

Dolores is survived by a son, David C. (Katie) Horner, and two daughters, Kathleen (Wayne) Haas and Kimberly (Michael) Lervold.

Graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at noon with Father Bernard Wamayose, AJ, officiating in Holy Cross Cemetery, Mt. Carmel Twp., PA.
