Kulpmont – Dolores (Bigus) Wojtkielewicz, 92, passed away on July 21, 2023, at Mt Carmel Nursing and Rehab Center, where she was a resident since January, 2023.

She was born in on March 28, 1931, the daughter of the late Walter and Katherine (Golda) Bigus.

Dolores was educated at St. Casimir's Elementary School, and was a graduate of Kulpmont High School, class of 1949.

In 1954, she married the late Joseph Henry "Hank" Wojtkielewicz at St. Casimir's Church, by Msgr. Marcincavage. Together they shared 63 years of marriage.

Dolores was a homemaker, her husband never wanted her to work outside the home. For the last 20 years, she lived in Kulpmont, having formerly lived in Numedia and out of state.

She was a member of the Church of the Holy Angels, Kulpmont, and a former member of Our Lady of Mercy Church in Slabtown.

She was preceded in death by her dear husband, her parents, and three brothers; Edward, John, and Joseph. Dolores is survived by many nieces and nephews who loved her.

Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at 11 a.m. with Father Andrew Stahmer officiating in the Church of the Holy Angels, 855 Scott Street, Kulpmont. Burial will follow in St. Casimir's Cemetery, Mt. Carmel Twp.. Viewing will be held in the Church prior to the Mass from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Dolores's name to the Church of the Holy Angels, 855 Scott Street, Kulpmont, PA 17834, or a charity of your choice.
