Mount Carmel - Dorothy Beckus, 89, formerly of 611 East Seventh Street, passed away Sunday, August 27, 2017 at Mount Carmel Senior Living Community.

Born in Mount Carmel on December 11, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Anastasia Fedock.

Dorothy was a resident of Mount Carmel since 1984, previously living in Middletown.

She was employed at the PA Department of Revenue in Harrisburg from 1972 - 1984.

On October 27, 1951 in St. Michael's Orthodox Church, Mount Carmel she married the late Frank M. Beckus who preceded her in death on June 7, 1993.

Dorothy was a member of St. Michael's Orthodox Church, Mount Carmel, a member of the Clover Hose and a member of the American Legion.

She is survived by a sister, Catherine Hardnock of Mount Carmel as well as nieces and nephews.
