Mount Carmel – Edward J. Valeiko, 81, of Mount Carmel passed away on Wednesday, June 16, 2021.

He was born in Bronx, New York and at the age of seventeen he enlisted in the United States Air Force where he proudly served four honorable years. Later he moved with his family to Massachusetts, where he worked for Raytheon in Andover, MA as an airplane missile electrician.

Edward was a devoted member of the Church of the Holy Angels, Kulpmont.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Helen Domanski-Valeiko; a brother, Johnny Valeiko; and wife, Doreen Hoffman, mother of his three children.

Edward is survived by his three children, Annette Coukos of NH, Christine Cummings and husband, Stuart of Marblehead, MA, and a son, Benjamin Valeiko of Lynn, MA; sister, Jo Ann Mondros-Eichelberger and husband, Brian of DE; brother, Tommy Valeiko and wife, Margret of NY; sister-in-law, Bobbie Valeiko of GA; two grandchildren, Jessica DeMars of MA and Ronald DeMars III of NH; three great grandchildren, Madison, Elise, and Aria of MA; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
