Virginia - Elizabeth Fusetti, 86, of 605 Margaret Drive, Chesapeake, Virginia died Wednesday, September 26, 2018 of breast cancer.

She was born in Atlas on October 1, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Sophie (Kopchia) Horochak.

She graduated from Mount Carmel Township High School in 1949 where she was a cheerleader.

She moved to Philadelphia as a young woman and worked at Bell Telephone, then married and raised her five children there.  She moved to Virginia Beach Virginia and worked at Verizon then returned to Atlas to help care for her mother.

She was a member of St. Luke's parish in Chesapeake Virginia while she lived with her son, Matthew.

She was married on July 24, 1954 at St. Paul's Chapel in Atlas to the late John Edward Fusetti, they were reunited under God once again.  She was a devout Catholic converting in 1953 with her mother-in-law, Veronica by her side.

Survivors include sons, Mark A. Fusetti, John Edward Fusetti II and his wife Ann, daughter Lisa Anne Fusetti Bowman and her husband David P. Bowman, two daughters-in-law, Deborah Fusetti and Colleen Fusetti, five grandsons and three granddaughters, seven great grandsons, four great granddaughters, one niece and two nephews. She's been reunited with their sons Luke R. Fusetti who preceded her in death on April 12, 2016 and Matthew M. Fusetti who preceded her in death on June 20, 2017.

FUNERAL NOTICE

Elizabeth Fusetti, 86, of 605 Margaret Drive, Chesapeake, Virginia - Relatives, friends and neighbors are invited to attend a funeral mass on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at 11:00 am in Divine Redeemer Church, 300 West Avenue, Mount Carmel with Father Ryan Fischer, officiating.  Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery, Elysburg.  There will not be a viewing.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Susan G.
