Elysburg – Elizabeth A. (Wasilewski) Kandrot, 87, of 11 Circle View Drive, passed away January 14, 2022 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

She was born in Kulpmont on March 14, 1934, the daughter of Joseph and Ann (Gudojtis) Wasilewski.

Elizabeth was a graduate of Kulpmont High School. On August 25, 1956, she married Albert F. Kandrot Sr. who survives. Together they shared 65 years of marriage.

She was a member of Queen of the Most Holy Rosary Church.

Elizabeth is survived by her husband, Albert F. Kandrot Sr. of Elysburg; two sons, Albert F. Kandrot Jr. and wife, Loretta of CT and Joseph F. Kandrot and wife, Amy of ME; a daughter, Linda Walters and husband, Ray of IL; two grandsons, twins, Matthew Kandrot and wife, Shannon of FL and John Kandrot of CT; a granddaughter, Rachel Walters, IL; a great-granddaughter, Madeleine Kandrot; a brother, Vincent Wasilewski and wife, Cynthia of Kulpmont; a sister, Mary Concitis and husband, Edward of NJ; a sister-in-law, Joan Wasilewski; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her parents, Elizabeth was preceded in death by her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Alexander and Mary Kandrot; two brothers, Joseph Wasilewski and Jack Wasilewski; three sisters, Helen Rydell and husband, John, Anne Polk and husband, Theodore, and Patricia Mensch and husband, Kermit; as well as five brothers-in-law and six sisters-in-law.

Elizabeth A. (Wasilewski) Kandrot, 87, of 11 Circle View Drive, Elysburg – Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, January 20, 2022 at 11 a.m. with Father Joseph Scanlin officiating in Queen of the Most Holy Rosary Church, 599 W. Center St., Elysburg, PA 17824. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery, Elysburg. Viewing will be held prior to the Mass from 9:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. in C. J.
