Mount Carmel – Ellen L. (Lutz) Albert, 86, of 206 W. 2 ^nd St., passed away Friday, February 19, 2021 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

She was born in Williamstown, PA on May 23, 1934 the daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Zembo) Lutz.

Ellen was a 1952 graduate of Williamstown High School. She worked as an accountant for a Funeral Home.

On March 24, 1956 in Harrisburg, she married Thomas Albert, who preceded her in death in 2014.

Ellen was a member of Divine Redeemer Church.

Ellen is survived by two daughters, Rose Mary Pekera and husband, Richard of Mt. Carmel and Patricia Miller and husband, Robert of Helfenstein; three sons, Michael Albert and wife, Rita of Coal Twp., Thomas Albert and wife, Barbara of Coal Twp., and Mark Albert of DE; five granddaughters, Jyl Pekera, Michelle Shutt and husband, Jared, Megan Miller, Holly Albert and Ashley Sok and husband, Daniel; five grandsons, Kyle Pekera, Luke Miller, Mark Albert Jr. and wife, Alyssa, Ryan Albert and significant other, Casey, and Nicholas Albert and wife, Ally; five great granddaughters, Madison Pekera, Rylie Pekera, Esme Sok, Rylan Albert, and Quinn Albert; two great grandsons, Jack Coaker and Jasper Sok; a sister, Mary Jane Koppenhaver; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. Ellen was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.

FUNERAL SERVICE

Ellen L. (Lutz) Albert, 86, of 206 W. 2 ^nd St., Mt. Carmel – Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, February 26, 2021 at Divine Redeemer Church, 300 W. Ave., Mt. Carmel, with Father Ryan Fischer officiating. Burial will follow in St. Peter's Cemetery, Mt. Carmel Twp. Viewing will be held prior to the service from 9 a.m. – 10:45 a.m. with transferal prayers at 10 a.m. in the C. J. Lucas Funeral Home Inc., 27 N. Vine Street, Mt. Carmel, C. J. Lucas IV, Supervisor.
