Pottstown - Emily Dianne Padula, 25, passed away tragically in a house fire on Monday February 21st in Pottstown, PA. She was the daughter of Mark Padula Jr. of Kulpmont and Lisa (Hornberger) Antalosky of Mountain Top. She was born June 6, 1996 at Bloomsburg Hospital.

Emily was a graduate of Mt. Carmel High School and a 2018 graduate of Kutztown University. She was active in childhood, participating in Daisy Scouts, AYSO Soccer, CYO basketball and travel soccer teams. Emily loved being with her friends, reading and drawing, but her real passion was film, which led her to her degree in Cinema, Television and Media Production. Emily was a free spirit who danced to her own music. She had an off-beat sense of fashion only she could pull off and a sense of humor we all loved.

Emily is survived by her partner, Matt Friedauer, of Pottstown, her father and step mother, Mark and Eleonor Padula Jr Kulpmont, her mother Lisa Hornberger Antalosky and her partner Neil Wyman Mountain Top, brother Michael Padula, and a sister, Sophia Padula of Kulpmont. Also surviving is her maternal grandfather, Paul Hornberger, Aristes, paternal grandparents Mark and Dianne Padula Sr, Kulpmont and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Carol Hornberger of Aristes.

Emily Dianne Padula, 25, of Pottstown – Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at 10 a.m. with Father Andrew Stahmer officiating in the Church of the Holy Angels, 855 Scott St., Kulpmont, PA 17834. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Kulpmont. Viewing will be held on Monday, February 28, 2022 from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. with Vigil Prayers at 7 p.m. and Tuesday, March 1, 2022 from 8:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. with Transferal Prayers at 9 a.m. in C. J.
