MOUNT CARMEL –Estelle B. Veach, 95, of 130 S. Walnut Street passed away on March 31, 2024, at Mountain View Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Coal Township.

She was born in Mount Carmel on June 23, 1928, the daughter of the late Ralph and Mary (Bressi) Mirarchi, of Mount Carmel.

Estelle attended Mount Carmel Area schools, and later became a seamstress.

On June 26, 1948, in St. Peter's Church, Mount Carmel, she married the late Robert Veach who preceded her in death on December 10, 2012.

She was a member of Divine Redeemer Church, Mount Carmel, and the former St. Peter's Church.

Estelle is survived by her son, Robert and Donna Veach of Mount Carmel; a daughter, Valerie and Mark Koveleski of Mount Carmel; two sisters, Angeline Gaffney and Eleanor Barni; five grandsons, Robert Veach and wife, Amy of Selinsgrove, Brett Veach and wife, Alison of Missouri, Jonathan Veach and wife, Nichole of California, Mark Koveleski and Lauren Marie of Virginia, and Matthew Koveleski and wife, Stephanie of Palmyra; four great-grandsons, Robert, Elijah, Wylan, and Jonathan Veach; three great-granddaughters, Giovanna, Ella, and Madelyn Veach; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Mirarchi and wife, Adele; five sisters, Gina Barilla and husband, Carmen, Rosa Palovick and husband, Joseph, Carrie Barella and husband, Frank "Rocky", Lucy Smith and husband, Howard, and Catherine Saukaitis and husband, Paul; and a brother-in-law, Francis Gaffney.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at 11 a.m. with Father Bernard Wamayose, AJ officiating in Divine Redeemer Church, Mount Carmel. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Everyone who attends the funeral Mass is asked to meet at 10:30 a.m. at Divine Redeemer Church, 300 W. Ave., Mt. Carmel.
