Francene Bogovich

Northumberland - Francene J. (Malinowski) Bogovich, wife of the late Edward F. Bogovich and daughter of the late Frances M. (Wydan) Malinowski, passed on Sunday, September 13, 2026, at her home surrounded by her family.

Francene is survived by a daughter, Susan (Vinnie) Shemanski of Jacksonville, FL, three sons, David (Lori) of Northumberland, PA, Michael (Cathy) of Naperville, IL, and Mark (Anne) of Cary, NC, along with five grandchildren, Matthew Shemanski, Jena Klemick, Emily Bogovich, Lauren Bogovich and Morgan Freid.

Francene was preceded in death by twin daughters Marie and Michelle at birth.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, October 5, 2026, at 11 a.m. at Saint Monica’s Church in Sunbury, PA. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Kulpmont. Visitation with family will be from 10 a.m. until the time of the Mass in the Church.
