Mount Carmel – Frank R. Barella, 79, of 513 West 4 ^th St., passed away on July 14, 2021 at Mountain View Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

He was born in Mount Carmel on April 29, 1942, the son of the late Frank and Carrie (Mirarchi) Barella.

Frank was a 1959 graduate of Mount Carmel High School. He worked as a traffic technician for the PA Department of Transportation.

On April 29, 1971 he married the former Marilyn A. Robacheski.

Frank was a member of Divine Redeemer Church, formerly Holy Cross Church.

Frank is survived by a son Frank S. Barella and partner, Vernon Scandola of Allentown; daughter, Jennifer Lazicki and husband, John of Mount Carmel; and two grandsons, Jude Lazicki and Jonah Lazicki. In addition to his wife and parents, Frank was preceded in death by a brother, Russell Barella.
