Mount Carmel - Frank J. Brosh, Jr., 74, of 343 E 7th Street, died at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville on July 14, 2018.

Born in Mount Carmel on February 13, 1944, he was the son of the late Frank J. and Della (Krotulinski) Brosh, Sr. A lifelong resident of Mount Carmel, Frank was employed by Penske as a truck mechanic and a terminal manager.

On December 9, 1967, in Chambersburg, PA, he married the love of his life, Sharon Horsfield, who survives.

Frank was a member of Divine Redeemer Church, previously, Mother of Consolation Church. He graduated from Mount Carmel High School and was the President of the Planning Commission for Mount Carmel. Kids called him the 'Mayor' of Diamondtown. He served in the Army and was a member of the Anthracite Fire Company of Mount Carmel.

In addition to his wife, Sharon, he is survived by two sons, Frank J. Brosh III and his wife Malanee of Mount Carmel; Mark C. Brosh and his wife, Vanessa of Coal Township; a daughter, Jessica L. Brosh of Williamsport; daughter-in-law, Angela Brosh of Mount Carmel; father-in-law, Albert M. Horsfield and his wife, Carol Klinger; five grandsons, Frank J. Brosh IV and his fiancé, Kristen Duceman, Tucker Brosh of Coal Township, Kyle Brosh of Herndon, Mason Fretz of Mount Carmel, Nick Barr of Mount Carmel; three granddaughters, Denier Bartos and her husband, Joseph of Kulpmont, Peyton Brosh of Coal Township, Miranda Zelnick of Sunbury; two great grandsons, Andrew Bartos, Jaxon Bartos; a sister, Marcia Gonder; two brothers-in-law, Albert Horsfield and his wife Maryann of Lavelle, and David Horsfield; along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Frank will be missed by his many family and friends, especially his dear friend, David Permar Jr., who was like a son to him. Frank was preceded in death by his parents; a mother-in-law, Lucy Horsfield, and his brother-in-law, Charles Gonder.

Frank J. Brosh, Jr., 74, of 343 E 7th Street, Mount Carmel - Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at 11:00 am in C. J. Lucas Funeral Home Inc., 27 North Vine Street, Mount Carmel with Reverend Joan Brown, officiating. Burial will be in Mount Carmel Cemetery, Mount Carmel Township. Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 24, 2018, from 6:00 - 8:00 in the C.J. Lucas Funeral Home, Inc. 27 North Vine Street, Mount Carmel, C.J.
